Chongqing KUNKUN Dive Center

Located within the Bluefin Club at Chongqing Jinyuan C-PARK, KUNKUN Dive Center, is the first temperature-controlled indoor diving facility in Southwest China with a depth of up to 20 meters. The center covers a total area of approximately 2,500 m², featuring a water area of 210 m² and a total water volume of 1,510m³. The water temperature is maintained year-round between 28°C and 32°C, providing divers with a warm, comfortable, and professional diving environment.

The water treatment system at the KUNKUN Dive Center is designed in accordance with international standards, featuring quartz sand pre-filtration and a counter-current circulation system. This configuration effectively enhances water purity while significantly reducing energy consumption, providing divers with a healthy and comfortable aquatic environment.

The quartz sand pre-filtration system operates by utilizing the water level potential energy. Overflow water is directed through quartz sand filtration before entering the balance tank, and is then recirculated back to the pool via circulation pumps. This design effectively reduces the required pump head, avoids water hammer effects caused by high-power pumps, minimizes impact on pipelines and equipment, extends the service life of the system, and lowers overall operational costs.

For the disinfection system, LASWIM has tailored a UV disinfection solution for the KUNKUN Dive Center. The system offers high efficiency, rapid action, and produces no secondary pollution, effectively eliminating bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms in the water to ensure comprehensive water safety and provide divers with a healthy and comfortable aquatic environment.

Additionally, the dive center is equipped with an air-source heat pump heating system, which maintains a stable water temperature of 28-32°C. A multifunctional dehumidification heat pump system is also installed to control indoor humidity at approximately 65%, enhancing comfort while effectively protecting the facility’s infrastructure and equipment.
