Swimming Pool of Yan'an New District Fitness Center, Shangxi Province

With an investment of 2 billion yuan, the Yan'an Fitness Center was completed in 2020. It is a comprehensive sports venue that includes a sports center, a mass sports center, and youth activity areas. The venue includes basketball courts, badminton courts, table tennis courts, and swimming pools.

The swimming pool of the Yan'an Fitness Center is built to the national standard of class B and can meet the requirements for hosting regional and national single events, professional athlete training, as well as the needs of citizens’ fitness activities. The swimming pool covers an area of 30,200 square meters and has 1,502 seats. It consists of a standard swimming pool, a warm-up pool, a water play pool and a slide pool.

Competition Pool: 50 meters in length, 25 meters in width, 2 meters in depth. It consists of 10 lanes and is mainly used for holding regional and national individual competitions.

Warm-up Pool: 50 meters in length, 12.5 meters in width, 1.4 meters in depth, suitable for public swimming entertainment and for beginner swimmers.

Children's swimming pool: It is arranged in steps, with water zones divided into three zones of 30 cm, 60 cm and 90 cm in depth, providing a safe swimming area for children of different ages.
