Sanya Atlantis Water Park

The Sanya Atlantis Water Park project covers an area of approximately 23,000 square meters with a total water volume of about 19,000 cubic meters. It features 11 water amusement pools, including surfing pool, rafting river, water fortress, children’s water fortress, children’s amusement pool, Aqua Racer (3 lanes), family slide tower, water magnetic roller coaster, and artificial surfing pool. It offers immersive fun experiences for tourists from all over the world.

The water system of this project was constructed by LASWIM. In terms of configuration, each swimming pool was designed to use a combined circulation method of bottom return water and surface return water to ensure efficient and balanced water circulation. The adopted filtration method is pressure-type quartz sand filtration, which not only ensures the stability and feasibility of operation of the system, but also effectively reduces investment and operation costs. In terms of disinfection, the “TRIOGEN” ozone equipment from the UK was introduced, combined with effective chlorine disinfection, to achieve full-flow disinfection throughout the flow rate, ensuring water quality safety and clarity. In terms of heating, indirect heating by plate heat exchangers was used, and the heat source was provided by air-source heat pumps, fully taking advantage of the climate conditions in Sanya, Hainan, and significantly saving energy.

During the construction of the water park project, LASWIM meticulously organized the team, optimized the construction procedures, and collaborated with multiple technical experts to conduct repeated discussions and tests. Eventually, they successfully completed the water circulation purification treatment project for the water amusement pool with high efficiency and quality. The main machine room of the water park is equipped with 45 large sand tanks with a diameter of 2000mm, 25 medium-sized sand tanks with a diameter of 1600mm, and 32 large plate heat exchangers, etc. The scale and configuration leads the industry.
