Plate heat exchanger is a new type of high efficiency heat exchanger, made of a sheet of metal having a certain corrugated shape. The working medium flows through a narrow, zigzag channel formed by two adjacent plates and heat transfer through spaced plates.
Features:
● Economical and high efficiency
Plate heat exchanger is composed of a corrugated plate formed by one-time stamping and has low metal consumption. The investment costs are significantly lower than other heat exchanger if using corrosion-resistant material.
● High heat transfer coefficient
When Re>10, the unit will produce violent turbulence, the general total heat transfer coefficient can be up to 3000~7000/m2k.
● Heat loss is small
Heat efficiency is up to ≥95%, heat exchange through reverse flow and the end temperature difference can be up to 1℃.
● Compact structure and small footprint
Its space occupied is a small part of the other heat exchangers, but providing large heat exchange area, no additional disassembly space is required.
● Long life time and easy to maintain
High degree of fluid turbulence and reduce fouling, no corrosion to the stainless steel material. When it is necessary to disassemble and clean, loosen the fastening bolts and quickly replace the gasket.
● Wide adjustability
Each model has four different specifications of plates, different combinations to meet various conditions of use of flexibly. The metal plate is independent and the quantity of plate can be matched with the changing heat load.
